Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany May 7, 2008 bottle. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Hoppy nose. Light and refreshing, slightly malty, hoppy and dry with grassy and resiny hints. Dry finish which is slightly fruity.
pivnizub (3793), Porúří, Germany Aug 16, 2008 Bottle (Dank an Stephan!) Pale golden with a bigger, lacy white head; sweet grainy-strawy nose; light to medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; light bitter-grainy finish. O.K., not overwhelming........ Allen (581), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Feb 7, 2008 Canned 50cl. It pours a yellow beer with a dense white head. Decent lemon sorbet aroma. A hint of pineapple and burnt plastic. Toasty, bready, with hints of apricot, marzipan, candy and quite a lot of vanilla. More candy showing up just before the finish which is pleasantly fruity (dominating lemon), grassy and hoppy. A nice surprise. oh6gdx (5857), Vaasa, Finland Dec 5, 2007 Canned, Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is hops and rubbery. Also some metal.
