2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 13, 2010
330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki)
5 Slightly dull grainy aroma, quite husky.
2 Pale gold, small brief head.
6 Massive retronasals - at first a hint of ginger, and then loads of pine and citrus. Taste mellows out a bit, but is very hoppy, and even has some bocky bitter almond. I mistook that for alcohol at first, but thimk that was an aberration.
3 Refreshing body, crisp carbonation. Finish slightly wooly and with a peppery longer finish.
12 A real pilsner, they didn’t skimp on hops that’s for sure. Clean, but not in the tasteless way, in the cleans-your-mouth-of-stale-tastes way.

bottle. Clear golden colour, long-lasting medium-sized creamy head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, mild start. Hoppy with a shy malty background. Hints of Saaz hops and a lingering finish with a long-lasting intensive hoppy-bitter-dry aftertaste make this beer very interesting.Good.
