Bottle 25cl. Aroma is yeasty, nothing special there. As the beer is non filtered, it is very cloudy. Color is golden. Minimal head. Taste is sweet and lightly sour. Beer is quite fizzy, finish is short, texture is slightly creamy. This is drinkable but not really my favorite because taste was too sweet.

750ml bottle from Mig’s Wines, Brussels. Cloudy, orange gold. Big, rocky, thick, bubbly, lasting, creamy white head. Looks just about perfect. Nose has barley sugar sweets. Custard malts. Flora. Taste is buttery, grainy sweet. Light bitter. Soft, foamy, smooth palate. Finishes a tad sweet, with minimal bitterness. Smells good. Looks great. A bit sweet. But £2.60 a bottle!

0.25l bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is spicy with coriander, yeast, sugar, pear and other fruits. Taste is medium to heavy sweet. Medium body. Overall it’s good beer, little bit on the sweet side.

Idiosynkrasie (6296) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JAN 17, 2016
250ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and spicy yeasty aroma, notes of apricot, peach, orange, mandarine, a touch of white pepper and bay leaf, mustard seed, some citrusy hop reinforces the orange and mandarine flavours. Taste is moderately sweet malty fruity, minimally tart and spicy, notes of apricot and peach, some mandarine and orange, a touch of brine and mustard seed, bay leaf; creamy palate, slightly prickling but non-disturbing carbonation, appropriately regulated to prevent stickiness without depletion of tastiness. Spicy Saison with sweetish, sirupy backing.

Aroma dominated by candy, syrup sweetness with some flowery, farmhouse like yeast notes, weak overall. Pours sunrise yellow to light amber with frothy white cap, some lasing too. Taste is sweetish with some tiny background bitter, light dry finish, floury a bit. More mild and at some degree complex than previous post. But also, not a good sample of style.

Nov 2015 - Bottle share at Moeder Lambic as ’Dupont Moinette Biologique’, 7.5%. Hazy orange, opaque, very big foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is musty, honey, papery, spice. Decent. Body is light, spritzy, slightly foamy. Taste is biscuity, light sugars, some honey, yeasty, dry finish with some booze. Nice beer. A bit fizzy for my liking. It’s so cheap to pick this up in the shops in Belgium. Quite the bargain.
