JB175 (1654), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 7, 2007 Hazy golden pour with thick, cakey-white head. Aroma is sweet with spices, clove, and citrus. Flavor is a nice spicy mix of clove, lemon, yeast, dough, and some nice hop bitterness. Complex and flavorful. IrishBoy (2685), Bakersfield, California, USA Apr 6, 2007 Bottle shared by Enniskillen; Nose was tobaccoy, caramel, spices, and a little funk; Hazy yellow with a small offwhite head; Flavor was atrtness, caramel, and cloves. Decent but not great; bradmccarroll (57), San Antonio, Texas, USA Apr 3, 2007 The aroma was the most enjoyable part of this beer for me. It was absolutly delightful. It had a fantastic orange and lemon scent. From the bottle it poured a cloudy golden hue. Its initial taste was tart, with hints of lemon coming through as it rolled across the tongue. Medium pallate with a tangy finish. I’d drink this again, but I do prefer the Saison Dupont over this. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA Apr 1, 2007 Lightly Hazed Dark Gold with White Head.
