DarkMagus (433), San Jose, California, USA Aug 9, 2006 Aroma of hops, malt and grain, pretty straightforward, but each of the individual ingredients could be detected. Really nice bright golden-yellow color. Ample head, super frothy and foamy, long-lasting, leaving some traces of bubbles on the glass. Flavors of wheat, yeast, citrus, spices, hops ...wildflowers maybe. Absolutely no hint of alcohol. Well-carbonated, extremely refreshing with a nice dry (and slightly hoppy/bitter) finish. An awesome Saison. mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland Aug 7, 2006 Bottled. Hazy orange in colour. Minor white head. Lacings. It has a yeasty and sweetly fruity aroma with wheat. The flavour is a bitter wheaty experience. It has a dry aftertaste. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 2, 2006 Smells citrusy, floral, very nice. This beer is really good. It’s got a light amount of hops in the finish, it seems. Smooth and a little spicy throughout. I could drink this all the time. oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Jul 24, 2006 Bottled. Hazy orange colour, big fluffy head. Aroma wheat, hops and some sugar. Flavour is hops, malts, yeast and some earthy and ginsengic notes. Very weird mix, but still very refreshing. iowaherkeye (1832), Bakersfield, California, USA Jul 19, 2006 11.2oz bottle, no date. My bottle says Foret on it. Pours a hazy golden with few floaters and a large off-white head. Aroma is banana, spicy earthy hops, yeasty, fruity esters. dust, small amount of alcohol. Nice. Taste is the same with a dusty dry finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Very good beer. SoLan (1369), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 18, 2006 Hazy gold. Huge, dense, sponge of a white cap. Grainy malt, earth, crisply bitter hops, cereal, subtle spices, and a dry yeasty finish. Medium body is extra bubbly, too much so. Other than the carbonation, a solid brew. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Jul 13, 2006 white lemon meringue head....slight yeast dust earth stable smell...refreshing as a dunk in the duke....delicous and dry..sour fruit and peppery...sweet on the lips and bitter in my mouth...actually quite damned enjoyable..A+ lacing....is this really the only organic ale in belgium, my word. starfireming (309), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jul 10, 2006 Clear golden colour with a plenty white head. Smells sweet and spicy. Tender palate with spicy bread flavour that hides the alcohol well until the end.
