Degustata in bottiglia da 75 centilitri. Colore giallo oro leggermente torbido, schiuma persistente.

Smaak is licht hoppig bitter, krachtig en blijft lang hangen. Bijzonder goed.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2015 On keg in Aba-jour, Ghent. Thrilled to find a bar with Dupont beers on tap. Slightly less thrilled that this was the biologique version as I wasn’t keen on the bottled version of saison dupont. However, this is great. Bright amber, cloudy, medium lovely looking foam head. Nose is lemon, hay, cereal malt, bread, hay, sweet, little funk, baked meringue. Taste as above, also bit of dough. Really bright fresh tasty beer.

Bottled 250ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Cloudy yellow/orange coloured, medium sized white head, weak yeasty nose. Moderate malty, yeasty, slight grainy and fruity with notes of spices and hops near the end. Drinkable but to be honest pretty boring BSA.

2014 bottle from Safeway. The corks pops with a rush of skunk from the bottle. Thankfully, it gasses off pretty quick. The pours is very pretty with a hazy medium orange color with a massive, pillowy white head. The aroma has just a hint of skunk, but nice notes of fresh air, clementines, dusty yeast, pepper and some flowery/herbal hops. The flavor is pretty powerful with juicy oranges, pepper, mild phenols, toasted grains, hints of honey and herbs in the finish. There’s a slight alcohol hint to go along with the stronger fruit and honey notes. Highly attenuated. Frothy mouthfeel. A very fun and satisfying beer, but I prefer the lower gravity beers from Dupont.

Bottled. Pours hazy deep golden with a large white head. Aroma of yeast, spice, funky notes, some spice traces and a little citrus. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft to average carbonation. A nice ale indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beautiful hazy yellow color with a little white head. Banana and bubblegum in the aroma. Nice aroma but maybe a little too bubblegummy to my taste. Compared to the aroma the taste is very bitter and sour. Not much sweeetness. The taste doesnt have the complexity to the taste that I usually prefer in a beer. Not one I would necassarily need to have again, but I have to admit it wins a bit in on me once I got adjusted to the taste. Did not realize I had a saison on my hand.
