4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 floydian1 (729) - FNQ Australia, AUSTRALIA - JAN 14, 2013
Isn’t this the "organic" version of Moinette Blond rather than a Saison? Anyway this was sampled from a 750ml corked and wired green bottle and presented as a hazy orange beer with a tall white head that reduces to a stable collar. The nose has cheesy earthy elements, oranges, straw and peppery spices. The palate is smooth and readily drinkable with a bittersweet flavour profile and a lovely spicy hop bitterness to the finish. There is no easy malt sweetness to this beer which only serves to elevate its status.

Bottle. Hazy golden pour with rocky white head. This one is very similar to the regular Dupont. Distinctive rusticity from belgian yeast, citrus and pepper. Taste is very elegant with lemony, grassy and peppery hops and honey malts. Heavier than the regular still far from the christmas version.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 TheEpeeist (2865) - Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 2, 2013
25.4 oz bottle. Hazy gold with a chunky meringue head. Nose is soft banana, yeast, grass and honey. A touch of earthiness; sensual. Medium body, a bit oily, with crisp bright carb. Taste is delicate lemon, sweet grass, lime zest and white pepper. Classy stuff from Dupont.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Scopey (3380) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2012
Bottle at home. It pours cloudy gold with a medium white head. The nose is orange peel, juicy tangerine, straw, dough, light banana, spice and a touch of farmyard. The taste is zesty orange, pithy lemon, spice, dough, floral, green banana, subtle tartness and herbal notes with a long, dry finish. Medium body and spritzy carbonation. Well hidden alcohol. Good depth of flavour, yet remains very drinkable. A well crafted saison.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2012 Bottle (750 ml). Slightly hazy golden/orange with a rocky white white head (which is not surprising from Dupont) and serious lacing. Aroma is yeasty with spices, citrus and fruits. Taste is also yeasty with spices, citrus, malt, flowers, honey and fruits. Dry mouthfeel. Medium body. Overall, this is a very good beer. Complex, well-balanced, refreshing and drinkable! Right on style and really Dupont-like!
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ttoadee (383) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 29, 2012
Cloudy gold, rocky white head. Slightly funky yeast and spice in the nose. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Varied grains, hops, spice, pepper, and finally vanilla across the middle. Drying finish.

Pours a nice golden yellow with a fast fading fizzy white head. Nose and taste is very dry crisp and spicy. Good not great.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 brenn79 (1224) - Idaho, USA - NOV 27, 2012
750 ml. bottle- Pours very hazy with a two finger off white head that sticks around for a minute or two. Aroma is whoa, skunky green bottle, stupid breweries that use them, it is hard to get past the skunk, but what is there is citrusy, yeasty, and light. The taste is much better, not much skunk, citrusy, unfiltered barley, yeasty, floral. Moderately tart and tangy, it has a long finish. I wonder how good this would have been if it weren’t for the green bottle?
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 symmetric (34) - - NOV 12, 2012
Yeasty, slightly malty nose. Not much depth of character. Pours a hazy straw-brown, with a thick foamy head. Taste is very slightly bitter, with yeasty flavors dominating. Very strong carbonation masks the middle of the taste, a bit heavy for my liking. Somewhat sweet, with a moderate body. Overall, a drinkable beer, but doesn’t stand out in any way.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 NikkTwist (965) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 5, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2013 Draft at Monks. Hazy yellow amber with an overflowing frothy white head. Bready floral notes finding off the top. Smells like a juicy floral German wit beer. Toast. Clove. Banana. Apricot. Thyme. Sage. Cardamon. Black pepper. Fuller body than one might expect. Bigger more aggressive flavors in this DuPont for a saison as well. Not as delicate but very well blended.
