nhorween (639), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 12, 2006 I’m a big fan of this beer. Nice and bubbly with a full, white head. Great summer beer, nice and citrus-ey, with an herby/hoppy aroma. Great mouth feel. harrisoni (6704), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 11, 2006 Bottle. Green gold colour with thin white head. Some cereal/citrus aroma, quite lively in the mouth with a wheaty/cereal finish and sharp grapefruit and lemon finish with drying hops. Oddly thirst quenching beer. rebelbrewer (125), Lithonia, Georgia, USA Apr 4, 2006 I had this as part of the beer/cheese paring at the Brick Store Pub on 04/03/06. It was paired with Toma D Pecora D’Valderi. This was the 1st pairing of 5. The beer was poured from a 11.2 ounce bottle into a mini-snifter glass. It was a cloudy light gold in color and had a thin head that did not last long. The aroma was very earthy. The taste was spicy and floral with a hint of clove. I found it to be refreshing on the palate TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Mar 20, 2006 Pours light golden with a fully receding wispy wihte head. Aroma of herbs, citrus, grassy hops, and coriander. Taste is grassy herbal bitterness, with yeasty esters providing notes of bublbe gum, orange, blossoms, honey, peaches, and flowers. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with slight stickiness and lush carbonation. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA Mar 9, 2006 Pours hazy gold with a huge white head. Peppery, wheaty, and tart aroma, with notes of freshly-mown grass and must. Slightly vinous. Very subdued flavor, with a tart wheatiness up front and a bitter, grassy finish. There’s some of that metal that I’ve found in most organic beers, especially a couple seconds after the swallow. A thin mouthfeel makes it incredibly easy-drinking, but somewhat unfulfilling. Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Mar 9, 2006 Updated: Apr 29, 2009Opaque beige-tan colour. Low head. The aroma is big Dupont farmhouse goodness - so dusty, musty and herbal, with a nice honeyed malt layer underneath. On the palate it’s dry, and dustier than regular Dupont. Less stylish in that respect, and the fizziness takes too much sugar away from the palate. The finish is again very dusty and herbal and definitely too fizzy. Good beer, has real potential, but is too assertively yeasty for my taste. ryan (1774), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Feb 18, 2006 Tap, Max’s 72 hours. Light golden body, small white head. Aroma is pineapple, apricots and spice. Flavor is peaches, lemons and spicey. The mouthfeel is light and refreshing. Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Feb 11, 2006 Pours clear with a generous white head. Smells of flowers, grapes, sugar and fruit. Taste is slightly sugary and light with delicate peachy notes.
