| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 10, 2005 The aroma was malty... almost pilsner-ish w/ slight soury light fruit, cloves, and slight citrus. The flavor had soury light fermented fruit, malty sweetness, and not really tart. The mouthfeel was light and creamy w/ a wet finish. The beer poured a golden yellow color w/ a slight haze; very slight head and lacing. 1FastSTi (2557), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 24, 2005 Poured from a 750 ml bottle labeled as Foret. This beer has a huge dense rocky white head atop a hazy amber body. The aroma is coriander, very yeasty, light banana, lemon pineapple cake, powdered sugar. The flavor is spicy. Yeast, banana bread, lemons, sweet honey, apricot preserves. Very complex. Nice farmhouse style beer! The palate is well carbonated, creamy/viscous. This is good, but man, I’m craving some Pizza Port SPF 8 again after drinking this. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 19, 2005 Labeled as Brasserie Dupont Foret Organic Saison in USA. Hazy amber body under a champagne-like white head that quickly faded. Dancing bubbles and good lacing decorate the glass. Aroma held lots of interest: Citrus, spice, bread dough, honey, summer garden. Rewarding feel in the mouth with the carbonation and the viscosity of the drink. The flavor disappointed. Some astringency and bitterness that put one off. ratman197 (3185), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 12, 2005 Foret, 750-ml. Unfiltered, beautiful glowing gold color with a sudsy, white, nearly 1" tall head in the tulip, leaving some wonderful lacing tracts in its wake. Perfumey sweetness in the aroma along with sweet and sour lemons, coriander, candi sugar, freshly squeezed bitter oranges and sour limes. Lovely first quaff. Lemon rinds, mint leaves and sage are called to attention. Welcome to the farm. So good. Rosemary, baguette crust, limes and the slightest hint of vanilla come through in consecutive sips. Slick and lightly effervescent. Lingering perfumey hops. Impeccable balance, finishing like sugar indoctrinated limeade. Fantastic rendition.
