Aug 26, 2005 Bottle (75cl): Hazy gold with a high carb large long lasting white head. Spicy, bready yeasty aroma, with some fresh fruits there too. Lovely sweet honey, great fruity mid with a spicy pepper finish. Really tasty farm style ale.

Aug 23, 2005 Updated: Aug 24, 200525 cl bottle with 08/2007 exp date: Looks like a jar of Clover honey with a foamy white head. Very sweet, wildflowers and fruit cocktail scents.
A mild Lambicky tart quality up front with the sweet fruit in the middle, a crisp finish. Another "Thumbs up" Saison *Note to self-Must get to Belgium!*

Aug 6, 2005 Bottle. Initially a grass/hay aroma that fades to an orange rind and light barnyard aroma. Orange amber color - cloudy with decent head and moderate efferverscence. Fairly high acidity initially with sweet apricot flavor in the middle and moderately bitter finish. Not too overpowering - easy drinking and smooth. (Foret)

Jul 16, 2005 Updated: May 23, 2006Cloudy gold body with a slightly off white head. The aroma is rich with some funky oranges and blue cheese. There is also some musty flowers medicine and menthol. A very summer like and flower aroma. Incredibly enticing. The taste is light with oranges and some medicinal quality. There is also some light bread crust. Incredibly refreshing. Great summer time saison.

Jul 8, 2005 A dry and somewhat mineral-accented saison. Dare I say I enjoy it as much as Saison Dupont, which I have always found to lack that nice banana/pear yeast component? This manages bitterness, with metallic hints, and integrates them with light spice notes, honeyed malt, and some nice fruit esters. Not the most bowl-you-over saison, but solid.

Jun 30, 2005 Bottle. Pours a very cloudy dark gold with foamy white head. Nose is peppery and spicy, with almost a leafy scent to it. Taste is spicey again with some harsh bitterness and warming of alcohol. Quite dry and interesting

Hazy orange color, decent cloudy yellowish head. Spicey nose with some yeast sweetness, maybe also slightly sour. Citrusy fruity flavor. Despite of bitterness quite soft palate. Hops and alcohol show up in the aftertaste. Well-made and tasty. Not much behind the original Saison.

Jun 16, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Orangey golden, not really that much head - but a lot of CO2 though... Some spicy - citrusy? - notes. Starts a bit on the sweet side only to go through an underlying tartness to end bitter. Rather complex pattern. 250997
