Perfectly Dupont. biggcb (459), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 27, 2005 Foret Saison - Dry, some hops, citrus and some nice spices. Very even tasting. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA Apr 20, 2005 Very nice initial hop grass and bitterness. Great mouthfeel and citric pear qualities. White pepper possibly grains of paradise and follow through spice. Clean yeasty and bitter finish. Otje (668), Leiden, Netherlands Apr 16, 2005 Updated: Aug 6, 2005Yummy. Typically a dupont-style beer. I’m a big fan of this brewery! nice hopbitter and the yeast they use is fantastic. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Apr 15, 2005 Foret: This pours a hazy yellow with a lofty, frothy, sudsy white head. The aroma is organic lemon with quite a sour edge. The flavor is organic citrus fruits and organic spices (pepper, coriander...) with a small hit of organic hop bitterness. The finish is dry and feels a bit dirty (organic dirt). Naturally, a good drink. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Apr 14, 2005 Hazy deep golden in color with a large white head. Aroma is fruity and spicey. Flavor is citrusy with a touch of yeast and ginger. mdi (573), Nebraska, USA Apr 7, 2005 33cl bottle, bottled in 2004. Nice thick white head, leaving good lace as I drink. Fascinating that I can’t see a hint of a bubble rising in my tulip?? Copper color. Peppery, with a hint at ginger in the aroma...lemon and banana play together too. Hops and yeast dominate the palate...eludes to some mineral character. Finishes dry and bitter, with malt and yeast peppering the lingering flavor. Hops are there, but this is a yeast vehicle. Nice saison. bierkoning (5989), La Tropica, Netherlands Apr 5, 2005 Hints of citrus and cream in the refined aroma. Full bodied. Soft hoppy flavor with hints of laurel, cream, malt, pear and citrus. Hopbitter aftertaste. Well balanced and some complexity.
