Tap @ the beer kitchen kc. Moderately cloudy, yellowish orange appearance with creamy, white head. Delicate blend of orange, apple, and various tropical fruits, spicy yeast, little pepper nose. Excellent aroma! Somewhat spicy, light tartness, light pepper, and lots of tropical fruits in the flavor with a slightly dry, fruity finish. These kind of saisons made me fall in love with the style.

250 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits (Halifax). Pours a totally cloudy darkish golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fairly yeasty with pear, banana and a little clove. Flavour is yeasty/fruity with pear/banana/touch of citrus and a bit of clove. Lightly carbonated; alcohol well hidden. Quite good.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 suprchunk (803) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - AUG 6, 2011
Copper/Honey color post pour. Big white head and plenty of lacing to accompany. Malty, and floral aroma. Yeast. A fruity banana-esque aroma in the mix too. A little spicy aroma in there as well. Tastes like a over-clovey wit or blonde Belgian beer. A bit dry and sweet. A little bitterness. Pleasantly surprised. Could be a daily if not for the ABV and size.

250ml bottle. Hazy dark golden pour with white head that leaves a nice amount of lace. Lots of tropical fruit and candied sugar on the nose with a little spice on the edge. Less interesting on the palate with a little spice and fruit but not very pronounced. Finishes short with a little spice and a hint of warmth.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 flatmatt (737) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUL 31, 2011
330 mL bottle of "Foret." Pours dark golden with a lot of sediment and a white head. Yeasty clove and banana aroma with spices and honey. Flavor is also quite yeasty, bubble gum, clove, and banana, with spices, honey biscuit, herbs, red apple. Bits of oxidation show this isn’t the freshest bottle, but it’s very nice. Dry, tasty, great saison.
