Aug 27, 2000 Updated: Jan 22, 2007pours a cloudy dark orange colour with a white persistent head; aroma of cork, old apples, cellar and pineapples; a touch of nutmeg too; highly carbonated; tart and acidic, a medium malt body is hidden below; the finish is dry, bitter and acidic, astringent with lot of fruity notes (oranges and apples) - typically Dupont, typically good !

May 28, 2004 Bottle, thanks to mwsf. Yeah, not bad, spicy, sour, yeasty and lemony.. No real problem with it, i guess it suffred from the competition it was up against that night, but not a bad beer by any stretch.

May 15, 2004 Orange colour, very effervescent to thick, slick, slightly yellow head. Nose of both freshly mowed grass and fresh malt - seaside aroma (iodium?). Dried wheat, spices (coriander, galanga root, pumpkin, paradise seed) in the taste. Very dry, just a touch of candi sugar, well-bodied. Grain-filled aftertaste. Very good beer, no doubt, but it just doesn’t reach the heights of the non-biological version.

Oct 4, 2009 Bottle conditioned, 750ml Cork & caged (between 4 people). Orange gold with white head. Carbonated, but in a good way, tangy, sharp, lemony but still honeyed for depth. Lasting and easy on the palate, whilst having a fungal yeasty background. Good beer indeed.

May 15, 2006 Cloudy golden colour with a white head. malty and spicy aroma with a fruity sweetness and a hoppy note. Malty, dry spicy flavor with a light fruityness.

Sweet fruity (citrus, green banana), moderately yeasty and wheaty aroma with traces of vanilla and a slightly acidic vinous touch. Moderately sweet flavour with a shy tinge of acidity, medium carbonation. Yeasty, wheat-malty, slightly fruity taste; quite dry, bitter-sweet wheaty and moderately yeasty finish. Well-rounded Saison (12.03.08).
