Nose is very herbal and spicy with some hop and citrus. Tastes mildly bitter with a wash of cilantro and more focused, mild hopping toward the back. Lots of black pepper. Semi-dry, medium-bodied. Peppery, lightly grass-hoppy aftertaste. I found it delicious from start to finish. cheeta (904), Langå, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 9, 2005 Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is yeast, sour skunk, some clove, and banana. Body is similar to a good hefe. Nice and thick with cloves and banana as the flavor. Slightyly dry in the finish. Solid malt body and fizzy on the tongue. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Egregious head of chunkiness. Overall appearance is very nice. Yellow-orange and cloudy. Aroma is not the strong point of this beer. Taste is of yeast, bananas, cloves, organicness. Smooth on the palate. Decent to Nice Saison HighGravity (891), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2007 A nice rustic Saison that does become too sweet for me after a while. The carbonation is zippy and the yeast profile is barnyard all the way to the barn. If the beer was drier I would have enjoyed it more.
