Pours a cloudy yellow with a small, thin head; no lacing. Clean on the nose, a little grass. Bitter grassiness on the tongue that lingers. Nice example of the style. 2011 vintage with a Foret label.

From the corked, caged 750 ml green bottle. 2014 batch. Yellow-peach colored pour with a tremendous white foamy head. The aroma has a kind of toasted bread and tropical fruit or orange character. Belgian yeast esters also in the aroma. Light body. Same bready and fruity flavor with a modest bitterness at the end.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden color with off-white head. Aroma has some nice citrusy esters with some spicy notes. Taste is slightly sweet and fruity at first and gets more bitter and spicy towards the finish. Body is quite smooth for a belgian beer but also well carbonated. Really good saison overall.

Assez sèche et amère en bouche, avec un goût de céréales très prononcé. C’est vraiment particulier, faut aimer.

750ml corked bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a cloudy golden yellow color forming a huge and fizzy white head with excellent retention and tons of soapy lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is a classic Belgian Ale: sweet, spicy, bready, peppery and herby. Strong notes of sweet pale malts, coriander, black pepper, cloves and herby hops. Slightly sweet upfront in the mouth. Strong notes of sweet pale malts, candi sugar, apples and pears, coriander, black pepper, sweet bread. Nice hippy bitter end. Medium body. Strong carbonation. Sweet, fruity and spicy aftertaste. Excellent drinkability. Classic Belgian ale. Strong Belgian character. Excellent ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Degustata in bottiglia da 75 centilitri. Colore giallo oro leggermente torbido, schiuma persistente.
