750 ml of Dupont Foret Organic into Duvel glass. Purchased at Discount Liquor, Milwaukee. Funky, orangey, sweaty, spritzy smell emanates from a rocky, fluffy head. Looks very carbonated during the pour, as if the beer were made of bubbles. Initial impressions are of champagne dryness and fizz, spidery like a gueze in the end but without the acid. Long after the sip, overripe fruit flavors nip at the sides of the tongue: apricots and pears. The middle is nicely spiced with cardamom and nutmeg? The beer washes over the tongue gently and the lasting impression is refreshing. Subtle and delicious, but nothing that makes it particularly memorable. Sm 8, Ap 5, Ta 8, Pa 5, Ov 15 = 4.1

From corked 12.7oz bottle. Aroma of skunk funk, soured dough, and grass. Lively carbination, cloudy golden in color with a nice fluffy white head. Taste of zesty lemons, bananas, bread, and florals. Very refreshing. No detection of alcohol. Great beer and would definetly have again.

Foret 750ml poured into Duvel Tulip glass. Step 1. Hold bottle upside down and twist your wrist back and forth. Watch the sediment clumps drift toward the bottom while your mouth waters. Step 2. Get a tulip glass ready in case it decides to come out after popping cork. Step 3. Pour carefully down the side of your tilted glass. Otherwise head is huge. Step 4. Dip your nose into the glass and take in the floral aroma. Step 5. Take a controlled sip, getting a little of the foam and enjoy. Step 6. Repeat step 5 until gone. This is the ritual I perform as often as I can. I love this stuff. It looks great, smells great and tastes amazing. It has a nice pleasantly skunky aroma with floral notes. It has a hazy golden/amber appearance with trails of yeast floating around in it. The initial taste is lightly sweet/salty with a nice strong finish. Not alcohol strong, just pleasantly more bitter than you expect which seems to cleanse your palate for the next sip. The foam is what makes this beer very appealing to me. LIke I said, get a little with each sip and it gives it a very nice mouthfeel and bite. The yeast in the beer also gives it a nice silky touch. Overall, this is my go to beer year round. Some people only drink Saisons in the warmer months but this one has enough kick to it to enjoy all the time. The one drawback is I found you should drink some water if you drink it before bed. It seems to dehydrate me more than other beers.

25cl bottle at home. Appearance: clouded blonde beer, unstable white head. Nose: Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast used by backers), grains, little sour. Taste: yeast, some spices, rather dry, some sugar. Didn’t really enjoy this beer, I like the regular version way better!

Poured from 330 ml bottle. Clear golden amber with swirling clouds of fine sediment, an enormous off-white billowy head, excellent lacing and extensive sediment, both in the glass and left in the bottom if the bottle. Aroma of yeast, fruit, musty composting leaves, grain, bread, lemon and banana. Taste of lemon, banana, yeast, grain, honeydew, apricot and herbal hops. Medium body and medium carbonation. I let this beer age before opening, which seems have added to both its complexity and its volume of sediment. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden yellow with a smallish head and minimal lace. Grassy hops and yeast aromas, with earthiness and some barnyard funk. Grassy and earthy hop bitterness with hints of medicinal phenols, honey, and mint. Light body, lots of carbonation, fuzzy mouthfeel, and a crisp finish.

Has some unpleasent, astringent notes. Straw-golden coloured, and hazy. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Yeasty, sharp aroma, some malty and hoppy notes too. Sweet flavor, light astringent.
