Una bona cervesa, equilibrada, que he begut en la versió petita (no la de la foto). Amb personalitat, sense ser tant contundent com altres...

I think I’m over Dupont products in 33cl bottles. The yeast character just isn’t there compared to the Bigger bottles. Moinette is delicious even in the small bottle, but if this had the expressive character that the regular saison has in the big bottles, this would be truly fantastic. Down in the core, this really is a tripel, and a tasty one at that. Gold in color with a lasting medium-sized white head. The aroma has a ripe fruit quality of pineapples, plums, and tangy apples that blends with with juicy fruit gum, vanilla frosting, and a little leather. The flavor is anice blend between tangy fruit and yellow cake (well, maybe white, but yellow is cooler), a touch of cinnamon and pepper, and a mild hop balance and bitterness. Medium-sweet up front and pretty dry into the finish with light acidity. Medium-light in body with medium-high carbonation. Not perfect conditioning, but well done. Sweetness persists just enough to let you know that this is a tripel and not just a strong saison. Night and day from Foret, which I just had for the first time last weekend. Now I really need to try that again because while this is tasty, I think I would like that one even more if the bottle were in better condition.

Pours dark blonde with a pure white head. Floral hop aroma, flavor is spicy yeast, corriander, orange peel, with a dry, slightly bitter finish. Very good!
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 caralkaline87 (386) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 30, 2010
Pours dark blonde/light brown with tons of floaties and a relatively small, off-white head (very contained head and carbonation for an abbey tripel). Nose is very sweet and spicy, with a blend of honeysuckle sweetness and incense...very odd but very pleasant. Flavor is sugar driven, with elements of both light candied and brown sugars in the malt. Hops and coriander are present but not brought to the front. Alcohol is present but does not detract. Finish is sugary and almost perfume-like but in a good way. A very delicious beer and one of the best tripels I’ve had.

Found this big green wine-looking bottle in my cellar, outdated, with a best before 06/2008 (but kept away from light and originally reviewed on January 2009). The cork had 2.005 written on it (I assume that is the date that it was bottled). Bought this one at the SAQ. Poured it into a tulip glass and had a huge foamy white head. This one had good retention and great lacing (foamy as well) all around. The colour of the brew was yellow-orange and had lot of tiny pieces floating all around with the very active tiny bubbles. Lots of fruits, mostly oranges, found in the nose, with spices and a little alcohol. A bit of nutty malt found in the taste, with some hop sticking out in the finish. The fruit is also mildly present, with the spices. I guess the past date made this one a little soft on the flavours, but could not find the alcohol at all in the mouth. Pretty decent strong saison or abbey tripel. Very well-brewed, enjoyable and goes down very-easily.

Bottle from 16th St. Liquor in West Vancouver. Deep yellow golden hue. Big fluffy foamy white head. Herbal, stinky hop nose. A bit vinous, crusty bread, yeast, leather, barnyard, spice, honey, light fruit, great mouthfeel/body, finishing with yeast and pepper...pleasant herbal notes, faint hops. This is a very nice brew, I could drink it all night long I think.
