Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England Oct 4, 2007 Bottle. Pours deep gold colour. Decent white head. Aroma is citrus / spice / yeasty. Taste is citrus with some pear. Finish is smooth & dry. SHIG (2012), Aviano, Italy Sep 16, 2007 Bottle: Poured a hazy floaty filled yellow to gold color with a creamy thick white head. The aroma was orange peels, hops and some spicy yeast. The taste was fruit with those citrus orange tones. Finish was hoppy and consistent with that spice aroma. pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Sep 12, 2007 330ml brown bottle. Deep gold colour. White head is well formed and long lasting. Left nice sheets of lacing in my Affligem glass. Aroma of orange zest and yeast, spicy and a little bready. Flavour is of citrusy slight herbal hop, yeast, and some spicy alcohol notes with malt fruitiness (peach and pear?). Moderate bitterness, dry finish. Fine carbonation, medium body. elmatador00 (518), j-action-ville, North Carolina, USA Sep 10, 2007 BAM, explosion of corkage. Poured a unfiltered copper color with a frothy lasting white head. Nice spice in the nose. Sharp alcohol on the lips, lights a fire all the way to the adenoids. Yeasty bread, whole grains and butter. Creamy but dry. Tilted to the warm side, but sustains on the tongue. Masterful. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Moinette

skibumphishead (180), USA Aug 30, 2007 750 corked and caged from Pop’s in Northampton, MA... The bottle says Moinette, Unfiltered, Bottle Conditioned, and Belgian Ale. This beer looked and smelled like the De Ranke Guldenburg. The first sip unleashed a familiar sour funk on top of a strong gold belgian ale. The flavs were ripe apple and pears with a lambicesque sour finish. The hops are subtle in this sweet strong beer. This is the best beer that I have had in a while. (I have been drinking miller high life all summer:)
