The initial big head quickly fades to a constant small one leaving great lacing. Flavor is very bready yeast, corainder, white pepper and a touch of citrus. Palate is smooth and crreamy. Yeast, spice, citrus, coriander, pepper, caramel, light liquorish. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Alcohol can also be felt. Nice lacing all the way down. Fruity aromas. Citrus, lemon zest, maybe a touch of skunk. Flavors were still fruity with more of a malty background and a slight alcohol flavor. Some pepper and mild bitterness. Very tasty pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Mar 28, 2007 Color is gold, thin bubbly white head. Aroma is green apples, white wine, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, light alcohol. Taste is lightly tart, with the apple sweetness, some alcohol warming, very light hop background. Not bad.
