| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Dark gold in colour with strong carbonation. Fantastic aromas of grassy hops, green banana, marshmallow, mild sour citrus, and ripe pear. Loads of ripe pear in the mouth, along with notes of black pepper, alcohol, and some light caramel. Dries out rapidly on the finish, with the alcohol note hanging around a bit too long. If you’re familiar with other Dupont products, this tripel will taste exactly like you’d expect it to. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 5, 2007 33cL bottle. Poured clear golden with a sold white head. I was disappointed in the taste of this beer; I thought it was soapy and slightly medicinal in flavor. I will try to get another bottle and re-rate as required. marchcow (664), Coralville, Iowa, USA
