Moinette Blonde

On tap at the Brick Store Pub and served in an official Moinette glass. The head was at least an inch an a half and was coming out of the glass. It was white and had a chunky top and never completely went away. There was little lacing left on the glass. The beer was light cloudy gold in color. The aroma was fruity and somewhat sour with the head on. The taste was fruity with hints of pepper. It had a bitter aftertaste that minimized as the beer warmed.

This is one beautiful Belgian. Billowy, white head that lasts for days. Citrus and spice jump out of the glass. Alcohol is very discreet, but recognized later. Nice hop presence, slightly bitter. Excellent balance. Finishes smooth and beckoning a next sip

Dark orange colored, big lasting yellow head. Black pieces of yeast in glass, hazy appearance. Strongly yeasty and spicy aroma with fine vinous banana tones. Medium to full bodied. Licorice, fruits, spices, pepper and mild yeast in flavor, aftertaste has medium alcohol and lasting spices. Some lace in glass. Fine and complex tripel.

750 ml bottle. Golden color. Great carbonation. Thick foamy head. Reminded me of "La fin du monde" by Unibroue. Nice taste. Dry taste and a little bit of flowers. Nice.

Hazy and straw colored with a small white head. Sweet and spicy aroma with some minerals, yeast and banana. Sharp and tart on the palate with a very spicy finish. Lightly sweet with flavors of banana, lemon, yeast and black pepper. Has some pronounced bitterness. Nice.

Opens with a pop and an explosion of aroma; must, yeast, and spice fills the room. Pours hazy gold with a huge head which leaves a lot of lacing. In the glass the aroma is fruitier: lemon zest, orange, and banana. There is a pronounced spiciness, with pepper and coriander dancing around that mustiness, now much more subtle. Bready flavor, turning spicy and fruity halfway through. A shot of hops comes in at the end. Dry finish, with a hint of plastic. Spritzy carbonation.

Wonderfull beer.. smells fruity but asides from an obvious lemon flavour it tastes quite yeasty and though.. very complex for this type of beer.. great

Mostly opaque and light orange. Fluffy head with foamy lace. Bright nose (hint of Band-Aid). Spritzy carbonation above a soft-smooth body. Cakey, yeasty and doughy malts. Lemon and spice was nice. Zingy hops. Mildish bitterness, but it was really balanced. Very pleasant and enjoyable beer.
