Bottle conditioned, from Sainsburys. Hazy gold, good fluffy lasting white head and gentle condition. Slightly tart fruity nose with some background traces of phenols and a hint of yeast, quite astringent in the mouth with low fruity malt and more phenolic character that in an English beer I would call an infection. Dry and yeasty in the finish with some hints of honey sweetness but still a background funkiness that didn’t quite seem right.

Re-rate. Obviously I got a bad initial bottle. Good and very drinkable. Nice summertime blonde ale. A bit spicy. Im not a fan of Belgians but I’d drink this again.

2003 Bottle. Barnyard funk with lemon-citrus aromas with hints of corn silage. Bananas are also in there. Slightly sourish aroma. A lot going on in the nose. Hazy yellow=orangish color with fine fizzy white head. Start is slightly citrusy turning to a more roasted subdued maltiness. Frinishes rather roasted and dry. This is very seductive and feels wonderful going down. Very silky and smooth.

Very nice color and aroma, A little dry for my tastes, but no aftertaste or bitterness at all.

Hazy gold with a lasting white head. Medium sweet aroma with some spicy notes. Sweet biscuity malts with a yeasty mid. Spicy finish lingers. Full bodied very smooth. Nice tripel.

A nice surprise with this one. A light, sweet citrus flavor tckles the tongue and relaxes the taste buds. One to savor.
