| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 13, 2009 This poured me an active, frothy as opposed to foamy (bigger bubbles), four-fingers deep white head on top of a cloudy orange/gold body. The aroma was an interesting melange of fruits, hops, and spices with no one element taking the lead. Flavour was reflective of the nose, and while the mouthfeel was "solid", it was somewehat sweeter than I’d like. Finished well. jumpjet2k (145), Austin, Texas, USA

I’m pretty certain this is the blonde, based on the ABV and color. There was a bit of mold on the inside of the cap, but the beer seems fine. Hazy orange/gold with a huge white foamy head, which recedes soon but remains strong. Pleasant bready/spicy aroma, fruity and a bit floral as well. Flavor is lightly sweet with fruity malt, pepper, spice, lemon, though maybe a little watery. Finishes dry but full with a spicy tang and a little alcohol. Pretty good, overall, but from these guys I’ll stick with a Saison. #100, woo. carruthm (1124), Seattle, Washington, USA

Fruity flavor, sweet and somewhat perfumy, along with mild spices. Pleasant mouthfeel. Not bad, not great. floydian1 (274), FNQ, Australia
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 28, 2009 33cl bottle at Restobieres restaurant in Brussels (highly recommended). A hazy pale orange beer with a small sized white head providing good lacing. The nose is spicy and grainy with hints of coriander leaves. The taste is fruity malts (citrus oranges mainly) with peppery spices and subtle coriander. It finishes with an alcoholic warmth and a nice dry tartness that lingers. The restrained sweetness is a real asset in my opinion. Full bodied with a lively mouthfeel. An excellent strong blond ale.
