(bottle, ABSdrinks, Winksele) Hazy and unclear light amber colour, with a small white head. Strong yeasty aroma, bread dough, a little citrus. Light bitter and citric flavour with sweetish notes, strong yeasty finish. Not bad, not outstanding, nice to drink but just ordinary.

11.2 oz bottle. cap popped off with a loud pfff, and foam started cascading over the lip of the bottle and all over the counter.
Poured into a NB glass.
Hazy orangy yellow. Lots of yeast in suspension.
Aroma is fruity with banana, apple, pear some citrus and some funky cheese. a little spicyness in there too.
Flavor is banana bread, lemon, corriander.
Finish is lightly sweet lightly dry. Awesome beer.
Alcohol is hidden nicely. Be careful

Cornfield (5552) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2005
Excellent pour, a hazy gold with a large, rocky, and well sustained head. The aroma has a citric tartness, yeasty with a light bready malt. The flavor is slightly sour with light fruits (not citrus) and a light alcohol burn. That burn re-arises in the blood after the tart and somewhat bitter finish. Not great, but quite enjoyable.

Hazy blonde, large white puffy head, lots of lacing. Nose of citrus and yeast, very malty and creamy. The flavor is citric and fruity, very clean, light alcohol and moderate malts. OK, maybe a bit fruity. The finish is lightly sweet. Yummy dupont characteristics.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a large white head. Spicey coriander and orange peel aroma. Taste is spicey, malty and fruity with a big, but pleasant alcohol and then hoppy finish. Full bodied. Good tripel.

In the bottle at the Dundee Dell. Pours a cloudy golden with slight orange-amber tones and a thick white head. Beautiful looking beer. Strong fruit/floral/medicine aroma. Outstanding lacing engulfs the side of the glass. Wonderful flavor of alcohol and malt. Fermented fruits appear. Tingly to the tip of the tongue (pepper?). A great example of Belgian Tripel.
