Opens with a pop and an explosion of aroma; must, yeast, and spice fills the room. Pours hazy gold with a huge head which leaves a lot of lacing. In the glass the aroma is fruitier: lemon zest, orange, and banana. There is a pronounced spiciness, with pepper and coriander dancing around that mustiness, now much more subtle. Bready flavor, turning spicy and fruity halfway through. A shot of hops comes in at the end. Dry finish, with a hint of plastic. Spritzy carbonation.

Mostly opaque and light orange. Fluffy head with foamy lace. Bright nose (hint of Band-Aid). Spritzy carbonation above a soft-smooth body. Cakey, yeasty and doughy malts. Lemon and spice was nice. Zingy hops. Mildish bitterness, but it was really balanced. Very pleasant and enjoyable beer.

Bouteille de 75 cl. Une belle arome légère d’épice. Couleur d’or brumeuse. Goût d’épice rafréchissant, pas trop amère.

BBD 06/2008. Robe blonde voilée surmontée d’une mousse blanche. Arômes de moufette de houblon amérisant et de citron. Saveurs de moufette, de souffre et de citron. Mauvais entreposage j’imagine. À regoûter.

Bottle (330ml). Poured hazy lemony-orange with a large lasting foamy white head. Like a very good Beligan wit (citrus, hops, ash) with plenty of complex sharp yeast, spicy malt and very drily juicy (if that makes sense). Incredible - all of the above, yet an overlay of light caramel malt and quite yeast and alcohol bitter - maybe a touch odd in its combinations and ultimately a little too boozy to be balanced, but nice. Has an alcoholic, astringent, syrupy mouthfeel alcoholic - this is a solid, appealing, tripel - I was really surprised. Long bitter spicy/citrus finish to it.

Bottle, 33cl. Hazy orange/golden beer with a big and beautiful creamy white head, mostly lasting. Very lively. Lots of yeasty sediment. Nice aroma of yeast, herbs and fruits. Flavour is bitter and complex, with notes of spices and yeast. Dry palate. Once again, a beer by Dupont that fails to impress me. Of course it’s a good beer but i was expecting a little more.

This was good, but not as good as the brune The ABV was more pronounced, and the flavors more overpowering. Good overall, but I liked the subtleties of the brune better.

Hazy yellow peachy gold hue, with a rocky foamy white head, nice nose of citrus fruits notes, like grapefruit, good yeasty and floral aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a zesty citrusy character, with some green apples and lemons fruitiness flavors, with a floral hops accent, and a leafy note, good carbonation, a nice complexity, with an alcoholic content well hidden, leading towards a floral hops bittering finish.
