Bottled 33cl. It pours a hazy golden beer with a nice white head. Strong, fantastic inviting hoppy aroma with hints of pepper, melon, leather, vanilla, blackberry, coriander and a lot of yeast. There is a nice bite to this beer. Good lacework. Relatively strong bitterness. Subtle carbonation. Complex, vinous and fruity. Great hop profile. Peppery on the swallow. Long dry finish which is reminiscent of clove and coriander. A sublime beer.

Bottle 2008. Silty blond appearance with floaties. Aroma is kind of wild, skunk, citrus, toast. Taste is quite grassy, bitter & dry alcohol showing in the finish. O.K. palate, a little too sparkling but quite full bodied.

Bottle. Pours golden with a big white ice cream head. Taste is closer to a saison, very dry with lots of spice and floral notes. It grew on me a bit but I didn’t care for it.

Moinette blond hit me in almost the same way as a blond Grimbergen or a blond Kasteel. While that’s not by any means a bad thing, it just didn’t stand out. Solidly in the middle, if you’ve never had a Belgian it will probably impress you, but if you’re a connoisseur looking for the next masterpiece of flavor, it simply isn’t here. It’s a good beer, but not a marvelous one unless you specifically prefer a light taste.

Cold 750ml corked bottle: Pours a cloudy medium orange color with a medium sized alabaster head that is resilient. Aroma is of nice yeast, light grains, farmhouse, and light fruits. Ending is of nice yeast and spice. Crisp, medium bodied, with good carbonation. Thanks, DirtyMike!! :)

Cloudy golden with a fluffy white head. Spicy yeast aroma, with undertones of lemon, peach and vanilla. Lightly astringent flavour, with some nice tart citrus notes, also quite bitter and fruity. I should have liked this more, but I couldn’t help feeling that something was missing.

Bought this after seeing goodgrief rate a moinette by dupont and like it, although his now apepars to have been biologique. Sorry about your Frenchie sounding "biologique," there pal, looks like I got the manly beer. In any event, the bottle from SL was just fantastic, exactly what I needed ALL TO MYSELF tonite. Pour had a big huge head, nice white color, pillowy, good lacing, nice sediment on the very last pour. The aroma was grassy, grainy, slight funk and faint pepper. The flavor followed, some lighter fruits in there, dry, tasty, grassy, yeast yum. A well done brew, some alcohol pop to kick things up, but still well-concocted. Dang, this thing was bigger than I thought, over 3 beers in a bottle basically. Mouthfeel was dry, fairly light for 8.5%, highly drinkable. Thanks to me for the bottle, and SL for carrying such a fantastic selection. SL rocks!

Bottle. It smells fruity-sour, citrus and some yeast. The white milky head is small with a long duration. The body is cloudy, lively and muddy. The taste is fruity and also bitter, a little bit too bitter for my taste. The carbonation is normal, the body is light to medium and dry-creamy.

Pours a chunky apricot-orange with a small white head. Aroma is of a traditional tripel: Spice, coriander, light fruit, slightly floral. Flavor repeats, but a little heavier now on the floral flavor, and the hops become apparent now too. Medium mouthfeel and viscosity. Bitter, sticky finish. Low carbonation. Overall, good to very good.
