3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beerdedone (2188) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 12, 2006
Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus and yeast. The flavor is sweet, citrus, and fruit. For an abbey tripel i felt this one was a let down and over rated.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 whaleman (2175) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 27, 2004
Bright lemon-orange body, abundant carbonation, and large frothy white head. Nice, fresh yeasty aroma of bread, esters, and apples. Crisp and tangy with significant bitterness in the finish. Alcohol taste is apparent. A nice, prototypical tripel.
4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 Jerre (2166) - Waregem, BELGIUM - AUG 21, 2006
Pours a golden straw blonde color with a big frothy white head and some floaties, a bit cloudy, leaving some nice lace; it’s real purdy lookin’ an’ ev’rything. Aroma is a little moldy with wet hay, yeast and alcohol.; complex and sticking in the nose; a touch of citrus. Sourish, dry; lots of vinegary and cidery flavors; bready, yeasty, sourdough; herbal and citrusy, stale hops, Italian/Provencal food herbs. Flavors last forever, and dry out the tongue...This beer is absolutely phenomenal; very deep, complex from all aspects. This is one of the best beers I’ve had.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 7, 2005
Decent beer with some truly unusual tastes in both the fore abd after. I shared this with a friend that mostly drinks macros and he liked it a great deal more than I did. There is something sharp and dry in the taste that you don’t get out of most Belgians. Very different.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Ober (2125) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - JUN 4, 2008
A bit hazy, yellow/orange colored beer, with a beautiful, white creamy head. The aroma is, I think, typical Dupont, dry, grainy, warming with some fruites, like bananas. The taste is a little bitter, hoppy, vanilla and spices. Not to much alcohol. A very good complex triple.
