May 5, 2007 33 cl bottle. Aroma of citrus, yeast and spice. Hazy golden color with a white head that laces. Thick mouthfeel. Definite pepper following malt. Almost creamy. Pretty dry finish, and there’s enough hop to make it right. Very nice, balanced, if that’s a word to use with a Tripel. Yum.

Jul 1, 2005 From a 330 ml bottle. Light gold with some haze. The aroma is herbal with some flowers and tart cherries. There is also some earthy undertones of moss. The taste has some hay and dry champagne. There is also a little bit of apples and some light notes of herbs. This is a refreshing and dry version of a tripel. Nicely done.

Nov 9, 2004 Updated: Oct 9, 2007Crisp malts and sweet spices in the aroma. Opaque yellow-tan with decent off-white head that recedes to nice cover with some lacing and clouds of suspended yeast. Dough-like yeast flavours with crisp, toasty malts and citrus-lemon notes and light spicy finish. Medium body with very full mouth and sparkling carbonation. Bottle enjoyed with beerhugger, CapFlu, DumDum, muzzlehatch, radiomb and Rastacouere.

Feb 10, 2007 Bottle. Beautiful high white lasting head. Hazy yellow body witha good deal of yeast sediments. Sweet fruity aroma with an edge of alcohol. Dry malt flavor with notes of soap and alcohol. Not the expected fruityness.

Sep 25, 2004 easier smoother drink than their Saisons. Satisfying. Pure Belgium, with apricot and lemon, medium mouthfeel. Nice blond white and lacing. Peppery, not too sour nor sweet, more malty and vanilla, some nutmeg. perhaps shelved long?

Mar 1, 2006 Bottle (330ml). Poured hazy lemony-orange with a large lasting foamy white head. Like a very good Beligan wit (citrus, hops, ash) with plenty of complex sharp yeast, spicy malt and very drily juicy (if that makes sense). Incredible - all of the above, yet an overlay of light caramel malt and quite yeast and alcohol bitter - maybe a touch odd in its combinations and ultimately a little too boozy to be balanced, but nice. Has an alcoholic, astringent, syrupy mouthfeel alcoholic - this is a solid, appealing, tripel - I was really surprised. Long bitter spicy/citrus finish to it.

Dec 19, 2002 Slightly hazy, nice white head, very pleasant in look. Fresh, fruit aroma. Creamy mouthfeell, banana taste. Great feel on aftertaste. Very good and enjoyable ! Thanks Doug!
