750ml bottle (Kaisla, Helsinki), shared by Pat Perfumy sharp bitter hoppiness. Slight gingeriness too. A little harsh in places. Didn’t really press our buttons, but nothing really wrong with it - wrong time of evening perhaps?

750mL: Shining golden hue, dense Dupont style white head with gorgeous lacing. Big yeast clouds float around the glass. Delectable pilsner malt nose with honey tones. Crisp cookie reminiscent toasty and floral flavours. Rather complex if not demarcative. Creamy and fluffy mouthfeel, not quite bubbly though. Sweet mouth entrance is accompanied by a white peppery yeast atmosphere. This pilsner malt puts the crisp in crispy, saazy finish provides a good bitterness with a bit more ironoxide than I’d like. Characterful, herbal, Dupont quality mark.

easier smoother drink than their Saisons. Satisfying. Pure Belgium, with apricot and lemon, medium mouthfeel. Nice blond white and lacing. Peppery, not too sour nor sweet, more malty and vanilla, some nutmeg. perhaps shelved long?

Bottle poured a cloudy tan with an off white head. Aroma was yeasty with notes of pear and apple. Palate was nice and smooth. Flavors of sweet fruit, mostly apple with a mildly tart and bitter finish.

Bottle at Cafe Le Paix, Poperinge, West Flanders, Belgium. 27-07-07 Had this alongside the Saison Dupont it was not unlike it in many respects (obviously it’s a different style) but I felt that it offered similar characteristics although it was just a little bit better than its stablemate. Poured a glowing orange/golden in colour with small white tight head, had some lovely vanilla creaminess, yeast, and nutmeg coming through wonderful beer.

Bottle from Brother Tuckers. Cloudy golden pour wtih a very big white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, and some suble spices on the nose too. Fluffy in the mouth and overall a nice balanced beer. Spices, yeast, sweetness all come together for a good brew.

Bottle. Beautiful high white lasting head. Hazy yellow body witha good deal of yeast sediments. Sweet fruity aroma with an edge of alcohol. Dry malt flavor with notes of soap and alcohol. Not the expected fruityness.
