"sturdy ale...herbal bouquet...well hopped...full, round, slightly sweet finish...have with bbq". i’m a fool for not partaking in this more often. Augustijn55 (82), Izegem, Belgium Sep 6, 2006 Golden straw blonde color with a big frothy white head and some floaties, a bit cloudy, leaving some nice lace; it’s real purdy lookin’ an’ ev’rything. Aroma is a complex and sticking in the nose; a touch of citrus. This beer isphenomenal; very deep, complex from all aspects. Strong beer, very tastefull Jerre (1399), Waregem, Belgium Aug 21, 2006 Pours a golden straw blonde color with a big frothy white head and some floaties, a bit cloudy, leaving some nice lace; it’s real purdy lookin’ an’ ev’rything. Aroma is a little moldy with wet hay, yeast and alcohol.; complex and sticking in the nose; a touch of citrus. Sourish, dry; lots of vinegary and cidery flavors; bready, yeasty, sourdough; herbal and citrusy, stale hops, Italian/Provencal food herbs. Flavors last forever, and dry out the tongue...This beer is absolutely phenomenal; very deep, complex from all aspects. This is one of the best beers I’ve had.
