The flavor is yeasty, spicy, and a bit of sweet malt to balance. Almost a session beer its so easy to drink and satisfying. Sickboy282 (1101), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 30, 2004 Bottle pours a cloudy pale golden, large fluffy white head, super sticky lacing, with fairly active carbonation. Yeasty, earthy, citrusy, and some spices on the nose. Quite yeasty up front, slightly sour, with some spices. Good body, wheaty mouthfeel. Finishes musty/earthy, slightly dry, minor bitterness, with subtle spices. Nothing exceptional, but quite solid.

More like a saison in many aspects. Pours with a giant foamy montainous white head. HUGE. Awesome. Golden hue. Yeast present. Smells like fresh strawberries and a very dry almost champagne like yeast. Tastes like heineken. I know not a nice thing to say but it does. However I think this is more the hop variety paired with the almost lager like carbonation. Very dry. Tastes like freshcut grass and sap with a mix of hops and fruity tripel yeast. Yeast is on the back of the palate and not the front. Interesting take on the style. Go check it out.

Slightly sour, hoppy flavor. Medium-bodied, crisp and sourish palate, somewhat carbonated. A wonderful, well-balanced summer brew. aenimopiate (148), The United States of Texas, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 9, 2006 Quite an enjoyable brew. The presence of apples is apparent in both the aroma and the taste. Since it is a bottle conditioned beer, the golden color is hazy with both bubbles and sediment. This beer goes down smoothly and sets well with me. I recommend this beer to belgian ale lovers.
