The cork comes off with a loud POP! It reads 2007. Pours a fully clouded orange with a nice off white head. Looks just beautiful. Nose is a consistent yeasty funk. Flavor is very nice. Very nice indeed. Nice full funk with a mild sugar tone that is not very visible. Mostly it is the yeast just dancing in your mouth. Very robust. Very hearty. Feel has a high carbonation that is almost a bit attacking on the tongue. Definitely worth trying.

Served in a snifter from a 330ml bottle. Pours hazy gold colour with medium white head. Aroma is bread, yeast, some vanilla, grass, caramel and laced with clear alcohol notes. Taste is slightly sweet with fruity notes of peach and apricot, slightly peppery, bittersweet finish with yeasty and alcohol notes. Full body with lively carbonation. A bit heavy on the alcohol presence but still quite enjoyable.

May ’16. A 0.33 l bottle. It poured hazy deep golden body with small to medium head. Very strong coriander and vanilla aroma, wheat chalk, touched with alcohol and, interestingly, cherry or some similar red fruit. Lightly sweet flavor, very fruity and pleasant like peach, apricot, other similar fruits. Then, also spicy - pepper, coriander and cloves, very nicely blended with other bitter herbal-spicy notes. Full bodied, lightly warming in its long bittersweet finish with more prominent yeast and less complexity than in the flavor. Unexpected surprise, quite a nice beer all in all!
Oh, and it turned out to be my #2600, nice!

Geur is rijk.

Hazy golden ochre with huge creamy white head. Dry and fruity aroma, bit tea, winey notes, belgian yeast, toasted malt, lightly citrus, coriander, bit pepper, herbs, apricot. Crisp feel, semisweet, medium body, peppery finish is long, nuanced flavor. Good refreshing palate, nice looks, balanced, nuanced and lively, one with character, good stuff!

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly sweet-ish, fruity, yeasty spicy, wheaty aroma, notes of yellow stone fruit, peach, mirabelle, apricot, mildly peppery spicy, yeasty overtones with hints of white pepper and a touch of hay, coriander seed, some floral honey, at risk to drop to waxy. Taste is dry hoppy, spicy yeasty, fruity, minimally weaty undertones, hints of brine and mustard seed, dried apricot; soft palate, gentle though lively carbonation. Excellent balance of cleanly- and dirtiness, dry- and sweetness, in no way obtrusive but quite intense. Wonderful.

Bottle. Hazy golden amber beer, small-ish white head. Estery and warmly malty nose, muddled peach and mild caramel. Flavor is malty, soft, with hops and fruity-citric esters kicking in the finish. Lingering caramel, some alcohol notes. Not bad.

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, fruit, grain, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Hazy/turbid golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a medium white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with grain, hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer has a balanced and intense flavour. Really great for a hot summer day.
