330 ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cigar in Yuen Long.

Looks: Cloudy hazy light muddy-straw colour with thin layer of yeast sediments; Half finger head and crumpety white foam which lasted for 1 minute. Excellent sticky lacing with near zero carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant Pils-like malt, with strong grapefruit, passion fruit, banana, strong vanilla, light sugar, honey, very strong Bel yeast, bread, dough, nice phenolics and spices.

Taste: Medium sweet malt, with very fresh grapefruit, strong fresh lime, strong floral nectar, molasses, nice phenolic, strong Bel yeast, strong bitter hops and strong sharp grass.

Body: Mid to light. Slick and creamy palate.

Mouth Feel: Fairly good Pils maltyness. Taste is driven by very fresh and fruity grapefruit, citrus and sharp grass. Strong but non-cloying floral nectar sweetness which blends well with the hops. Really nice! Light bready, good phenolic, it reminds me of Brugse Zot but with a more intense and thorough taste. Great!

Hoppiness: Intense fresh grapefruit, lime, passionfruit, floral in aroma and taste. Bitterness is very strong , a couple pars below German Pils, still really astringent and sharp grass to balance the sweetness very nicely for a long lasting moderately bitter finish.

After Taste: Slightly dry. Creamy, very fruity and hoppy to mouth.

Comments: This is more or less a stronger version of Brugse Zot: its ester and fruits maybe a little less varied, but just as refreshing, tasty and strong. Topped with intensely strong hops, matching strong sweetness and smooth taste. Its shabby looks maybe forgiven. Taste and good vibes is all that matter, and this one is a stand out Strong Belgian Pilsener, much more so than Duvel. Highly recommended!

Mausteinen hiivaisuus etualalla, sitrus hieman taaempana. Korianterimaista yrttisyyttä tuntuu hiivan lomassa. Myös vehnäolutmaista banaaniesteriä löytyy tuoksuttelemalla. Maussa banaanimaiset ja sitrusmaiset vivahteet iskevät vahvimpana vastaan, pippurimaisen ja korianterisen mausteisuuden kutitellessa taustalla. Kukkainen humalointi ottaa lopussa suun valtaansa tukevoittaen makua. Hieno olut.

Very pale straw colour with light thin white head. Strong citrus, candy and bread aroma, with a good strong hit of Belgium yeast. A nice heavy mouthfeel, champagne like carbonation. Sweet honey and citric, bubblegum, spicy herbs and cinnamon. A nice dry finish, fine light hop bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a hazy gold with foamy head and fresh floral aroma. Vibrant blond flavours, aromatic, floral, a touch of spice all impeccably blended with a teasing dry bitterness on the finish. A beautiful blond.

A very good beer. A smooth drop. It reminds me of Brussels but should be in 1 l bottles. The logo is brand.

Crisp, light, but still quite bready, a lot of belgian yeast esters; bubblegum, citrus, very dry, easy going and nice - like a better Duvel.
