Corked & caged bottle with 2007 on the cork. Medium sized very fizzy ivory head that mostly diminished, very little lacing, hazy, very little carbonation, and a copper-orange hue. Nose was flowery, hoppy, fruity, sweet, and malt. Ditto for the flavor with some spice. Tingly mouthfeel with a bit of a warming sensation and medium in body. Very quaffable, nicely done, and worthy of a try.

Jul 15, 2008 750 ml bottle-A burnt orange hazy body with a nice tight tan head and an aroma of belgian yeast, caramel, and brown sugar. Taste of the same with a nice candy, malt, and a dry finish. A very nice drinkable Dubbel.

Jul 12, 2008 Sweetish smooth drinking dubbel. Deep brown with some white head. Malty yeasty aroma. Medium, almost creamy mouthfeel. Mild yeasty spiciness. Drying aftertaste.

Jul 3, 2008 Bottle shared by Jeremy at Ginger Man. Pours a dark brown ale with light tan head. Aroma is spicy belgian yeast, some dark belgian fruit. Some hop character and lightly sweet in the finish. Decent beer.

Jun 30, 2008 A hazy brown ale with a thick creamy light moka head. A spicy caramel aroma, light orange peels and bubblegum, with light alcohol. In mouth, a burned caramel malt, coriander and orange peels, with good warming alcohol in finale. Medium bodied. Bieropholie import. Tasted early April 2007.
