3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Sweet fruity aroma. Cloudy dark brown body, large light brown head. Flavor is sweet and fruity, but less complex than the best dubbels. A dash of bitterness in the finish. Pleasant, not outstanding.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Pours hazy dark amber in color with an off-white head. Sweet ripe dark fruityness in aroma. Sweet maltyness, bit of yeasty spicyness in taste. Feels a bit dull on the whole as this brew didnt offer much neither in aroma or tastewise. Even a bit boozy towards the finish.

Belgian brown beer, but it’s Dupont so it has some nice dry and grassy herbs in it. Good tasty beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Malty aroma of brown sugar, dark fruits, yeast, caramel, raisins. Flavour is sweet malt, brown sugar. All things considered this has a surprisingly moderate/medium sweetness, with some lingering bitterness in the aftertaste.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Beautiful looking beer, excellent lacing, reddish-brown with a large off-white head. Aroma has some caramel, brown sugar and dried fruit. Really nice. Palate is a bit thin for the style, medium-bodied. Heavy-ish on the sweetness and light bitterness. Tastes different than it smells. Alcohol is much more evident than in the Blonde.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (330 ml). Gusher. Slightly hazy amber brown with a small ring of off-white foam and little to no lacing. Aroma is spicy with herbal notes, malt/caramel and fruits/berries. Taste is slightly sweet and slightly/moderately spicy with malt/caramel, fruits/berries and a light alcohol warming. Medium body. Lively carbonation at first, but it become low carbonation after a few minutes. Dry and spicy finish. Not bad at all, but the gusher + weird carbonation tell me there’s probably a little something wrong with this one. Still a quite tasty Belgian.
