Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
Well balanced copper coloured bitter. Clean dry and malty with some bitterness and delicate floral hop flavour.

Cloudy deep amber with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and fruity notes. Sweet flavor with caramel, fruits and floral hops leading to a bitter end.

aroma is of Straw, honeycomb sweetness and lemony hops. Solid straw like malt base. some licorice and spice. a fairly good best.

Cask-conditioned at the Crosshands, Fishponds, Bristol 28/10/07. Deep copper with a moderate off-white head. Malty fruit aroma followed by a hint of toffee sweetness and a bitter finish. Good.

Cask, Whey Pat Ale Festival, St Andrews. Coppery to brown, slightly murky with a thin off-white head. Hoppy nose on the attack with some floral tones. Mouth is strong on the caramel maltiness with just a play of bitterness at the end. Quite good.

Cask at the Bear Inn, Cirencester: poured dark copper with a frothy off white head. Mild hop and malt aroma, some wet cardboard. Flavor is much the same. Mild cardboard with a watery finish.
