Gravicask (Helsinki Beer Festival, 2011)
6 Slight toffee aroma, some apple - oh dear, is this going to be as tired as the Royal Matromoley I just had?
4 Deep brown, no head.
7 Appley taste too. Tired. But definitely with a really good full roast.
4 Soft palate, carbonation low. Finish just so lovely and roasty. Great.
13 Such a full body, but definitely a bit tired. Very good - would like to have fresh. Again, easy to blame HBF for putting the real ales in the warmest part of the venue, and not being quite so fastidious as they used to be.
