This copper coloured ale has a delightfully spicy hop aroma and taste with a long bitter finish.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - dark amber with a nice head. Nose - toffee and spice Taste - more of the same. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture but a slightly astringent finish. Overall - solid. Not special.

A beer that makes a very rare appearance here in Yorkshire lovely and full tasting on the palate with quite an unusual aftertaste which you will either love or hate! I liked it, hope this beer makes it again to, West Yorkshire really soon.

Dark amber color, good creamy off-white head. Nutty, caramel aroma. Medium-bodied. Nutty, malty flavor. Caramel, finish has some hops. Balanced and nice.

Cask@the Longhorns, Walsall. Dark chestnut beer with a medium head and good lacing. Aroma of malts. Taste is treacle, toffee, sweet malts and dark fruits. Full bodied. Good beer.

pint in leicester. pours a copper colour with no head. no carbonation at all. aroma and taste were not great but could definitely detect the spice. reasonably hoppy and quite bitter.
