This copper coloured ale has a delightfully spicy hop aroma and taste with a long bitter finish.

Seemed a bit "standard" for a strong bitter to me. Sure, the malt and hops are there, and in reasonable balance, but there was nothing to really hold my attention. Went down quite nicely though. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall, Whitehall, London SW1.

Cask, Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Deep amber with a dense head of foam. Aromas are very malty with cookies and some berry fruitiness. Flavours are rich malts with hints of citrus and berries. Dry towards the finish.

White Cliffs Winter Ales Fest. Gravity. Dark amber. Not much aroma. Darkly tangy bitter. Pleasant enough, but not impressive.

(Cask conditioned @ Pullman Bar, Helsinki) Nice dark amber color with very small head. Quite strong and pleasant, even wineous, aromatic-hoppy and bitter aroma. Bitter, very aromatic, slightly sweet flavor. Not quite as pleasant as the aroma. Light to medium-bodied, quite thin palate with low carbonation. A decent brew, but I was a bit let down after sniffing the great aroma.
