COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshing amber gold beer with a fresh floral aroma from the single variety First Gold hops, leaving a lingering dry, bitter taste.

[Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading] Amber with a yellow creamy head that breaks up into distressing lumps of scum, which adhere themselves unpleasantly and cloyingly to the inside of your mouth. The beer hidden underneath is fine, despite not being at all Christmassy - it’s a fruity malty one with some fudge, a very slight earthy bitterness and a hint of chilli. However, it’s completely ruined by the revolting head. Surely it’s not meant to be like that?

cask. Copper body, white head. Lots of malt and butterscotch. Woody, caramel and quite low bitterness. Nice but nothing special.

(cask.) Not festive in any regard , just a plesant pale ale with an X-mas play on word name . A pretty plesant beer as it is . fragrant hops -lemon grass ..floral cheweiness ...mild sweet tang backdrops. Easy offering but more spring-time in seasonal.

500 ml bottle. Finland.
Clear amber colour with small white head. Mild English bitter hops, fruits, some perfume and wood in aroma. Not that bitter after all. Flavour is also mild English fruity hops, malt and wood. Easy.

6 Slightly detergenty - but nice hoppy and honey aroma.
4 Reddish, small head
6 Sweet malty body. Some simply hoppy twist.
4 Full, smooth palate, carbonation low.
12+ A bit of an odd one, but not unpleasant.

Bottled@Kittys, Helsinki. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is bready, grassy and some mild notes of earth and wood. Flavour is rather much the same, not that exciting nor interesting. Quite bland even for a bitter.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Brunswick, Derby. A copper coloured beer with a welcoming fruity berry hoppy aroma. The taste has fruit and nuts in nice balance with some decent hops. Tasty and moreish and seems stronger than it is.
