Black ice is dangerous as you can easily slip into buying this. Beer has hints of corn throughout the tasting process. Still better than other Molson brews but still rather harsh. Fruity balance? More like Veggie unbalance.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2005 this one is a good deal smoother than the likes of wildcat...but is also a lot more vegetableriific head is significant, comparable to other molson products and taking into account price it is much better than XXX. Added Bonus: The can kinda looks like a pop can so all the more covert in those sketchy social or family situations.

Appropriate name for a beer since, as every Canadian knows, Black Ice should be avoided. Black Ice: (def.) a patch of icey-surface on a roadway that sends you into the ditch!

Light golden yellow with white head.Aroma is a dry musty aroma, not a good must but a wet towel that has sat in your bathroom for a few weeks type of must... there is a bit of grain in the finish of the aroma as well... Flavour is sweet so yest it is malty but in a syrup type of way which leads you to the body... syrup type body with a somewhat dry finish.
Now that I’m a more mature beer drinker then I was in 2002 does this go to show that when you get older you enjoy the crap more?? Hahahahh!!! A 1.7 over the ol’ 0.5 I gave it....

This is corn beer to the maximum extent a corn beer can be.
There was a bottle sitting in the back of my brothers trunk during a really hot time in July. It must of been 70 degrees. And maybe it was the bottle of rye I had first, but somehow I managed to choke this beer down. Be advised to only drink this under similar conditions. Then your a beer drinkin’ daredevil.

Your typical molson product. It is very easy to produce a ’well balanced product’ when you only hop with 10 IBUs. Your standard mass produced american/candian lager.
