0.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 28, 2006
341ml Bottle: The third in the unhold trinity of beers cast upon me by vitamin_e. I can’t believe I traded good beers for these. At least it’s a rating. Pours pee yellow with thick streams of carbonation. Aroma of sweet corn. Flavour is heavily metallic, big on corn, and there appears to have been no attempt at all to disguise the alcohol. 5.5% and it tastes like rubbing alcohol. Like they care, people will buy it anyways. On the bright side, if Labatt made this they’d probably call it a premium kolsch. Kill me now.
1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 11026 (1772) - Alabama, USA - SEP 18, 2006
Can. A golden color, pure as the purest driven urine. For some reason, a white, cloud-like head forms and really never fades, nice lacing is left behind. From the results of the rest of the beer I can only assume that some head retention agents were added. Corny, DMS, vegetal aroma. The scent is quite obnoxious. Light bodied, perhaps a touch syrupy. Flavors seem to be fairly corny, overly sweet with a sickly aftertaste. This is quite bad.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 vitamine (35) - USA - SEP 9, 2006

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 MrManning (1942) - London, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 2, 2006
Bottle- Sparkling gold body is swept up by a frothy white head. Corn and cardboard, with a mild hop presence that tries to come to the rescue. But all is lost. DMS, cabbage too. This beer is notably bland, and the finish is like wet air.
1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 DuffMan (4242) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 2, 2006
I don’t like regular Canadian, and I like this even less. I’m not sure what the "icing" process is meant to add, but this REAKS and tastes bad.
1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 dwyerpg (3462) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - FEB 23, 2006
Looks and smells terrible. Doesn’t tastes as bad as the first appearance, but it certainly isn’t good either. Another beer for the list, that’s about all - glad I could buy a single.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 heemer77 (4754) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 4, 2006
I got a bottle of this in KC. Light gold body with a large white head. The aroma is light corn and honey with some bell peppers. The taste is corny and metallic. There is some honey ham and a little bit of apples. Not too bad.
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Oakes (9997) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 23, 2005
Light straw colour. Virtually non-existant aroma. Sweet...candied apples, light acidity. Overcarbonated. Grains as far as the eye can see. You know, I’ve tasted macrobrew from all over the world and Canadian ones are about as bad as it gets. No redeeming features, this is really poor.
