Pours pale yellow-gold with a 1 finger creamy head that fades pretty quickly to a thick skim and holds pretty well from there. Aroma is corn, grass, fusel, and a hint of cereal. Flavor is sweet cereal grain, dry grass and sweet corn. Palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated with a slightly slick feel. Fairly typical, slightly sweet pale lager.

On tap at Smokey Joe’s Cafe (nice roofop patio, terrible beers). Pours a clear yellow-gold with small white head. Aroma is virtually non-existent - a little adjunct I guess. Flavour is mildly grainy/corny. Light body, fizzy carbonation, quite watery. Really just incredibly bland more than the corny mess I might have anticipated.

Richer shade of gold than comparable brews in this genre. Light body but a slightly sweeter flavor than I was expecting gave it a better more rounded flavor and a longer time on the palate.

How did I end up with a 12-pack of Leafs in my fridge? Shameful. Pours a light straw color with a 2-finger white head. Aromas of grassy hops and slight skunkiness. Flavor is weak hops, sweet malt, and a slight biscuit aftertaste. Mediocre, at best.

Had at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, OH. Grainy, bread tasting beer. Not good. No lace, aroma is weak.

Probably the first beer I ever drank. Man, what did I know. Skunky, familiar green bottle. Strong.

Bottle. Clear straw with tight white head. Aromas of straw and malt. Flavors of straw and mushrooms. Vegetal. Thin body with slick mouthfeel and complementary carbonation.

Draft at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Reds vs. Cards, 5/16/10. Damn Reds won and took first place- now I’m going to have bad memories of this. My choice of free beers in the suite I was in was this, Bud Light, Miller Lite. I didn’t realize this would even be a new rating for me. Looked lousy in the plastic cup- fizzy white head on a fizzy yellow, clear beer. Corn, grains, pale malts, straw, sugar, and water. Light-bodied, with a lot of carbonation and a fizzy, sweet corny mouthfeel. Pretty much what I expected, you hoser.
