Whoah, I never reviewed this on here. No time like the right time, here we go.
Whenever this was poured out, it was always into a pint glass. However, for the most part, thereís been more than enough times, this has been consumed out of the can (old after hockey beer) or bottle.
The appearance was super light yellow color with a fast rising carbonation filling a rapidly dissipating less than a fingerís worth of white head. Lacing, what lacing, there is no lacing every time Iíve had this.
The smell was cooked corn, kinda coming through in a raw yet bland sort of way, mostly unpleasant every time Iíve had it.
The taste was bland and the cooked corn came back again to ruminate on my taste buds. There is no aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, it sits extremely light and shows more than enough sessionability about it. The carbonation is fairly harsh but actually doesnít stray too much from this style.
Overall, best thing about this is its palate, other than that, I donít buy beers based on their palate, so this is a BMC product I usually donít come back to.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Poured into pint glass a pale gold. Aroma was of malts, cereal, and hay. Taste was sweet corn, light malts. Light and watery in the mouth. I remember when this was one of the better beers available in the US but those days are long gone. In 1976 this was 5 star.

Move along, nothing to see or drink here. Pure corn crap. This is what you drink when you know nothing about beer but the commercials.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good clean drinkable lager. Crisp with more complexity than most North American lagers. If you canít appreciate a good Canadian beer, take off, eh!

Bottle. I used to buy this quite a bit in my younger days, but no longer. Tastes of sweet corn and hay, no real hop taste to it. They do a good job of marketing it for a hot day, but I have many other beers I would choose on a hot day. All of them better than this.

Uuuuuuuuuuugghhhhh. This is going to be bittersweet for me. This was my first beer, my first teenage binge and I suppose what got me started on liking beer. Sheís been a long dirty road but all roads have to start somewhere. If youíre a Canadian human living in Canada and havenít had this once in your life youíre probably effed. Also, if youíve ever had a mass produced big beer company lager than here is another for that coveted clique. It stands a bit above the rest for taste, but letís be honest it still sucks. Corny, vegetal blandness. Hops require a search party. Wicked gnar carbonation. Would never buy it again yet strangely would never turn one down. Road beers.
