COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Using crystal clear water, the finest hops and Canadian-grown malted barley, Molson slowly ferments each brew to produce a smooth, refreshing beer with genuine Canadian taste.

12 oz bottle. This beer was an old standby for me, during my "dark ages" of macro brew consumption. Pours a light golden with ample bright white head, very little grassy aroma, hops almost neglible. Still a fairly smooth "lawn mowing" beer. Not offensive, but not real good.

Bottle. Aroma is skunky malts with a tiny bit of hops. Crisp and clean. Typical American lager, despite being made in Canada. Nothing special.

Bottle in Niagara. Clear Golden. Light malty (caramel) and hoppy. Flavor light sweet and bitter. Light body. Boring.

One of my favorite cheap beers because it goes down smooth and doesn’t taste too much like cheap malt.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2011 Can common. When John Candy says "Canadian beer sucks" in the movie Canadian Bacon - this is what he’s talking about. Generic watery garbage, but tremendously popular...scary.

355mL can. Numerous samples. Molson Canadian is heavier than say Kokanee or Bud Light with some apparent DMS up front in nose and taste that some may actually like because it distinguishes this beer from characterless seltzer water competitors.

Pour is clear, light yellow with force carbonation. Suddy, white, thin head. Nose is mild DMS/corn and grain. Taste is moderately fruity with a hefty dose of DMS up front followed by prickly, sweet water. Palate is prickly and thin. Feels more "full" than other macro pale lagers and is totally inoffensive, but be ready for a small example of DMS, which is perfectly agreeable with this style.

Very average and super boring. Malty and sweet upfront, full of corn. Super boring after taste. I had 1 of these and that is more than I think I’ll enjoy again in the future.

Bottle poured into a tulip...really cold, also tried warm. corn sugar beer with a hint of off ferment sour skunk. maLT? HOPS?. iT HIDES 5% apv very well if you can get past the watery gagginess. Check out the song "Free Beer" by Da Yoopers...I think they were talking about this stuff.
