4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 michclark (88) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 9, 2011
great beer that seems to get overlooked by "serious" beer drinkers in Canada. Nice aroma. Great golden appearance with great taste that gives a little more than you’d expect from a top selling lager. Nice medium body and a great overall refreshing finish.

Overall, your typical larger taste. In my opinion, probably the best of the Molson beers. I had it on draft and it was the special during the hockey game. Nothing great, but nothing that bad about this beer. Price is much better in 12oz cans.

Light yellow pour with small head. Aroma of straw and wet cardboard. Taste has a sweet start to it but then turns nasty. Would be refreshing after completing an olympic distant marathon.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jmad (72) - - MAY 1, 2011
I poured a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass...
The beer is a pale golden yellow with lots of bubbles rising and a foamy white head that hung around and left a lot of lacing. It smells of hay, lemon and skunk. The taste is a bit mettalic with some other grassy and bready flavors. Feels a bit watery with carbonation that stings the tongue and a slightly dry finish. This beer is better than American Macros and I would drink it again. It’s very easy drinking.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Nena (957) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 25, 2011
Draft. Pale gold pour, fine white head. Smells slightly sweet and grainy with some toasted corn, tastes the same with a soft straw aftertaste. Light bubbly body. Pretty clean and inoffensive tasting, but also quite boring. I do appreciate that it’s not as overtly chemically tasting as BMC stuff. Good for hydration and a buzz when I don’t want to pay attention to what I’m drinking and that’s about it.

bottle. Pale gold with an actually nice, lasting white head. Aroma of light hops, and starch. Flavor of paper. Reminds me of foster blue label. I’ve had worse, but it’s not good.

On Tap at 211 BelAire Cafe, Toronto Pearson Airport 30/10/2010
Hop aroma. Carbonation. Clear golden coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with a hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.

The only thing dynamic about this beer is the alternating red and blue lettering on the label. Other than that it doesn’t stand out from any other macro lager. Clear pale straw in color, corn aroma, light body, watery mouthfeel, short nil finish. Why do I keep trying these?
