COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Using crystal clear water, the finest hops and Canadian-grown malted barley, Molson slowly ferments each brew to produce a smooth, refreshing beer with genuine Canadian taste.

Appearance: clear corn with a meager bubbly soapy head which fades to collar. Swirls average.
Nose: ah, the smell of cheap pale lager adjuncts. Salty seltzeresque quality along with some hard minerals – slate. Whiff of dirty socks. Dried corn kernels.
Palate: dry starchy finish which brings to mind licking some hard slate. Sweet corn kernels, cornbread and corn muffins. Salty finish makes the top of my tongue water. Dirty sweaty socks along the sides which lingers long and dank in the breath. Bleh.
Final Thoughts: typical mediocre pale lager. Nothing to see, nothing to taste. Time to move on to better greener maltier and hoppier pastures.

Rather grainy and soso malt. Not really that bad compared to Budweiser but that’s not saying much.

When in a pinch and no one is around to drive the Zamboni, this will do. My favorite after a hockey game because it’s almost water.

pours clear golden with a minimal head, no retention at all. what is a genuine canadian taste anyway? oh well, grainy, maybe some malts, corn, rice, slightly biscuity, watery, strong carbonation. not horrible. still bad.

Just the usual crappy pale lager; slightly skunky aroma and flavor. I guess it’s not as bad as the American mass-produced beers though.

341 ml bottle. Decent white head that deminishes quickly. Very light golden colour. The aroma is slightly sweet and fruity while also sour and grainy. Taste is slighty sour with a hint of sweetness with not much maltiness and a bit of hoppiness. Texture is almost to watery and is very carbonated.

Draught while watching our boys cough up a 3-0 lead in the third to the Russians. Not only was I forced to sit through 5 unanswered goals, but the only beer I had to drown my sorrows was this swill. Marginally better than the Coors lights of the world, but not by much.

I’ve a lot of fun with this beer over the years and even though I’m a bit upset that they stop putting pick-up lines on the side of the bottles (mostly because it’s worked for me more then not), this is a good beer that goes down easy.
