24 oz can into a glass. Woo, íMerica! Wait... A: Pours a straw color. The three-finger white head actually has a bit of duration to it - a good duration, actually. Thereís even some spotty lacing left on the glass. For a macro lager, this looks damn good. S: The aroma is generally pretty corny, with some lime sweetness. Not as bad as, say, Budweiser. T: It starts with a notable presence of cereal grains. Aside from a subtle fruit ester quality and the faintest twinge of hops on the aftertaste, there isnít a whole lot of flavor. The best feature isnít that itís great, because it clearly isnít, but that the bad elements of the style are restrained acceptably. M: It feels sweet and even a bit slimy on the palate. However, if thereís a positive trade-off, itís that the raging carbonation ever-so-prevalent in the style is dialed back well. Very easy to drink, but I wish it was drier - the sweetness is a bit cloying to me. O: Iíve had FAR worse macro lagers than this. And Iíve even had worse craft beers than this, too. This is perfectly okay, if not exactly good. I can now see where some of you Canadians are coming from - this blows our BMC out of the water. Hell, Iíd even drink this again.

Bottle 33cl from Mondial de la BiŤre. A clear yellow beer with huge head. Nose is on over ripped fruit and white wine notes. Aroma is dry, watery with low blond caramel notes, wet paper touch, corn notes, very light.

On tap in Buffalo, NY. A typical macro-lager. Pale straw with a billowing white head; creaal aroma; sweet grainy taste; and an absence of hops. Nothing wrong with it - but nothing to recommend it either.

Pale golden color , medium white head. Malty aroma , malty taste ... Light body , high carbonation. Boring lager...

Bottle: Some of these are always left over in the fridge after a family holiday. Decided to drink one during a recent fridge evacuation. Iíve had it before, but this was for my official "rate". This beer is crap, just like the rest of these macro brewed pale lagers. Metallic, grainy, mild corn, a hint of stale & staunch hop earthiness, substantial amounts of carbonation. Watery, sharp, & not very good. Drink cold, as it picks up that same, funky sweet corn flavor when it starts to warm up. Better yet, donít drink at all.

Corn yellow color thin head. Smells of corn, bread, and hops, taste the same. Watery and smooth, probably the best of Molsonís offerings. Always refreshing, a very good lager.

This is the quintessential Canadian beer. This is a beer for the average Canadian. Great looking, better tasting, always consistent and always satisfying.

Transfer from BA review on 12-30-12- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance- Pours a golden color with a two finger fizzy head. The head fades relatively quickly to leave almost no lacing. Smell Ė The nose is very light and consists of a little bit of corn and a light herbal hop and rice smell. Taste Ė The taste begins with some malty and bready flavors and a light corn sweetness. As the flavor advances the bready flavors are lost to an increase in corn flavor. More toward the end of the taste a light citrus hop along with a artificial sweetness and cardboard/paper taste come to the tongue. Mouthfeel ĖThe body of the beer is on the slightly lighter side with a carbonation level that is a little on the higher side. Both decent for the style, but nothing too exceptional. Overall- For an adjunct this is not one I would likely go for. It is drinkable, but not anything I would like to drink on any occasion.

355 ml can. Like drinking water with a bit of malt in it. The kind of beer you get to taste when visiting family and being offered one...

It is what it is. Itís not going to change the world. It is however refreshing on a hot day by the pool or beach or in most situations when you want a cheap decent beer. Its a typical macro lager. I think itís a little sweeter than some of the other ones out there. Overall, itís nothing beer snobs are going to flip out about but it is what it is and itís been around for a while so itís obviously done something right.
