2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
24 oz can into a glass. Woo, ’Merica! Wait...
A: Pours a straw color. The three-finger white head actually has a bit of duration to it - a good duration, actually. There’s even some spotty lacing left on the glass. For a macro lager, this looks damn good.
S: The aroma is generally pretty corny, with some lime sweetness. Not as bad as, say, Budweiser.
T: It starts with a notable presence of cereal grains. Aside from a subtle fruit ester quality and the faintest twinge of hops on the aftertaste, there isn’t a whole lot of flavor. The best feature isn’t that it’s great, because it clearly isn’t, but that the bad elements of the style are restrained acceptably.
M: It feels sweet and even a bit slimy on the palate. However, if there’s a positive trade-off, it’s that the raging carbonation ever-so-prevalent in the style is dialed back well. Very easy to drink, but I wish it was drier - the sweetness is a bit cloying to me.
O: I’ve had FAR worse macro lagers than this. And I’ve even had worse craft beers than this, too. This is perfectly okay, if not exactly good. I can now see where some of you Canadians are coming from - this blows our BMC out of the water. Hell, I’d even drink this again.

How this can be served across the world as a representation of Canadian beer is just sad. What a terrible rep for people to think about canadian beers!

As far as light cheap beers are concerned this is not a bad one. It is decent and when youre looking to throw them down this is a good way to go.

Better than many macro brews. Sweet grain like flavor. Light watery but in general wheat like not beer like. Not to bad better than the other big names.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma: Smelling sweet, corn flakes, pears and some lime.
Appearance: A clear straw colored beer, a white head with some lacing, no curtains.
Taste: Sweet white bread, apple cider or soda, a slight lemon peel bitterness.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, medium sized fizzy bubbles, refreshing and watery, small body.
Overall: Good for thirst, not that great for taste. Too much soda character.
Note: On-tap at Toronto Airport. Reviewed 2012-03-21.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
It's better than most American adjunct lagers. Super malty but no skunk. I wouldn't try it again.

27/I/15 - 341ml bottle @ home - BB: n/a (2015-112) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Clear pale, very pale yellow, no make that pale piss coloured beer, irregular white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, sweet, sugary, some marzipan. MF: soft carbon, light body. Taste: what taste? Oh, slightly malty, and maybe a bit sour, but just very very watery. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, with some goodwill a bit malty or some sugary caramel. But almost no flavour. They’re not even trying...

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma is adjuncts like corn and rice, sulphur and a bland sweet maltiness. Taste is light maltiness with bland hopiness. Very watered down. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains poorly.

One of my favorite beers. Although similar to many other lager beers, this one has something special that sets it apart from the others. Is it smoother? Is it that hint of apple flavor that some others have noticed? As I begin my journey into home-brewing my first goal is to make a crisp, clean lager beer like this one. This beer also makes excellent bread and pizza dough.
