Bottle. Probably a good example of using clean water and quality hops in mass production. Non offensive lager.

Transfer from BA review on 12-30-12- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance- Pours a golden color with a two finger fizzy head. The head fades relatively quickly to leave almost no lacing. Smell – The nose is very light and consists of a little bit of corn and a light herbal hop and rice smell. Taste – The taste begins with some malty and bready flavors and a light corn sweetness. As the flavor advances the bready flavors are lost to an increase in corn flavor. More toward the end of the taste a light citrus hop along with a artificial sweetness and cardboard/paper taste come to the tongue. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the slightly lighter side with a carbonation level that is a little on the higher side. Both decent for the style, but nothing too exceptional. Overall- For an adjunct this is not one I would likely go for. It is drinkable, but not anything I would like to drink on any occasion.

355 ml can. Like drinking water with a bit of malt in it. The kind of beer you get to taste when visiting family and being offered one...

It is what it is. It’s not going to change the world. It is however refreshing on a hot day by the pool or beach or in most situations when you want a cheap decent beer. Its a typical macro lager. I think it’s a little sweeter than some of the other ones out there. Overall, it’s nothing beer snobs are going to flip out about but it is what it is and it’s been around for a while so it’s obviously done something right.

Bright golden yellow appearance, medium head. Corny and grainy aroma, some malts, light hops. Light and watery, refreshing. Decent Pale Lager.

Bottle at a wedding. Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has nothing interesting. Creamy taste, otherwise dull. About as good as I remember it being.

Essentially flavorless beer with some unpleasant hops and slight astringency on the finish. No, Canada

Fitting first rating. 5% Bottle from my brother’s fridge, half and half in a shaker. This is a Canadian classic. Light colour, minimal lace. Deeper gold than most American lagers. Aroma is sweet grain and a hint of malt. In the mouth this is as you’d expect, typical lager body, this goes down easy. Taste is more grain, wet cardboard, rubber bands. Sweetness on the finish I’m not too fond of. You can definitely do worse.

Aluminum bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks DSG. Pale gold with a small white head. Sweetish and sugary aroma with a sweetish, a little grainy, sticky taste. Light body, too long finish.
