Was hesitant about reviewing this one. This was a beer I drank frequently before getting in to craft, micros, and foreign beers. I find it difficult to drink now. I had it at a wedding last night and after two I switched to mixed drinks. Sure, it is a lot better than Bud Light and Budweiser, and marginally better than Miller Lite, but overall it is just a bland beer. Can only drink it very cold.

Bottle at a wedding. Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has nothing interesting. Creamy taste, otherwise dull. About as good as I remember it being.

Essentially flavorless beer with some unpleasant hops and slight astringency on the finish. No, Canada

On draught at a Boston Pizza probably, as well as bottles and cans. Generic lager.

Fitting first rating. 5% Bottle from my brother’s fridge, half and half in a shaker. This is a Canadian classic. Light colour, minimal lace. Deeper gold than most American lagers. Aroma is sweet grain and a hint of malt. In the mouth this is as you’d expect, typical lager body, this goes down easy. Taste is more grain, wet cardboard, rubber bands. Sweetness on the finish I’m not too fond of. You can definitely do worse.

Aluminum bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks DSG. Pale gold with a small white head. Sweetish and sugary aroma with a sweetish, a little grainy, sticky taste. Light body, too long finish.

On tap in the lounge at Montreal airport. Looks like lager. Quite remarkably lacking in any character. At least it wasn’t unpleasant, kind of yellow cold water really.

Very skunky. Maybe I got a bad 6pack but this beer was not enjoyable at all.

Traditional drink at the hockey games, but don;t touch the stuff any other time. Clear pale and yellow in appearance, thin weak and watery in taste and aroma.Mainly grainy, corny.
