unclemattie (1646), Georgia, USA Jul 16, 2008 12oz bottle. Clear, golden yellow. White head. Heavy corn meal aroma. where’s the barley. Did they cross-breed it with some canola oil? Body is light watery, fizzy, and bland. Just like the flavor. Boring!
hobbersr (10), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Oct 7, 2008 Out of the bottle, the colour is yellow/gold and very bright. The head dissapates within seconds and moves to the outer vall of my glass forming a ring. The smell is of very sweet corn, cardboard and alcohol. Corny taste with a flat, cardboard tasting finish. Very light mouthfeel... Terrible beer, not worth buying or drinking looframp (6), , Netherlands does not count Oct 5, 2008 descent beer, certainly for North-American standards. borgination (92), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Oct 2, 2008 Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear golden color. Sweet grains and mild grassy hops with earthy notes. Light bodied, smooth and well carbonated. vikingguy (53), Chaska, Minnesota, USA Oct 2, 2008 This is a decent Canadian Lager, but not quite as good as the Labatt Blue. The Canadian seems to have a touch of skunk to it. I’ve drank quite a few of them and it’s the same everytime. They go down easy, have a clean, crisp taste, but the finish is sort of skunky. Still better than Bud/Miller. EithCubes (1824), Indiana, USA Sep 21, 2008 Bottle. Corny, grainy nose. Clear dull golden pour with a creamy white head. Body very sweet, lightly dusty dryness toward the end but the light corn doesn’t fade. Very faint crispness on a thicker-than watery body. Better than many other pale lagers, though the aftertaste leads me to believe a sixpack would net me a bitchin hangover next morning. Yes, aftertaste is nasty.
