2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - DEC 7, 2011
Originally rated December 2005. Pours a straw yellow colour with a decent white creamy-bubbly head. The retention was medium and the lacing, wavy. Nose is malty, and mouthfeel is kind of oily and watery. Grain malt and corn are both found in the taste. Again, with all Carling’s so far, nothing offensive. Good for the alcohol extra kick, but still prefer their origianl lager.

No of course not, how silly of me, thats ONLY Molson M! Now this has that dreaded fusel, cooked veggies, corny aroma. The flavor is hat rotten corn sweet mealy corn macro mess. This is pretty bad stuff.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 ontbeermaker (1261) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 15, 2011
actual quite decent for the style of beer, expecting a harsh bitter taste, but overall it have a smoother taste for a beer that was "ice" in the name. It taste a bit stronger then the carling beer, overall not bad, would prob have again

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Spab (1118) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2010
473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear gold with small white head. Mild aroma of adjunct. Taste has some sweet malt and plenty of corn, as well as some stale hops. A little bitterness in finish but some metallicness too. There are worse pale lagers but this is still weak.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 JesseM (918) - Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 11, 2010
473mL can from the Lyckbow. $1.90 CDN, if it was $1.91 I wouldn’t have purchased it, it was that much of an intense internal struggle. I’m still not sure I’ll ever really know if I made the right decision. Pours a pale yellow with a large but fast dissipating head, not unlike an impotent old man. Smells like pungent sour green apples and the lowest-grade corn syrup adjuncts. Also, ice chrystals. Flavour is that weird kind of sweetness that seems like they infused macro cider in for no apparent reason. Grains that seem like they may or may not have been chewed by some cows first, perhaps as part of the mash process. Finishes spritzy, like Lambic kind of spritzy which is not at all a comforting feeling right now, and with this ’beer’. Burps feature a fleeting hop presence which may actually just be an illusion. Well, that LSD I took half an hour ago is starting to kick in and stuff’s getting a bit too real for me so I’d better go and take a hike............
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 cyrenaica (745) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 27, 2010
473ml can
5.5% ABV <br)
I tried this beer on April 27, 2010 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent medium gold with a thin white head that disappeared quickly. The aroma was cheap malt, grain, and a weak floral sense. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was awful, sweet grainy malt.
