2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @ Hotel. Malt Liquor #100. No palate. Clear golden/yellow pour with a soapy white head. Boozy, frosted flake nose. Lots of corn and grainy sweetness as well. Grape drank is prominent as well. Just overwhelmingly sweet on the tongue. So much sugar, juice drink, apple, and corn. Boozy finish, slight green apple skin, and some soap. Go with the 8.5% instead.

My dad and stepmom wrapped all of the pictures my sister and I gave my grandmother over the years and gave them to us for Christmas.
Thanks, I totally wanted all of these pictures of myself
that I gave to someone else ten+ years ago. My grandma is still alive too, and wants the pictures back. Some people are awful at Christmas gifting.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Think of this brew as barleywine ale but not quite as sweet or strong. Pleasantly verging on barleywine territory but throttled back some. To the unaccustomed palette it will seem sweet. This is a good effort for large scale commercial production standards. It’s not as complex as a microbrew of this style. Good aroma, color, and body. Will definitely buy it again.
